Description
Wabtec is hiring a Services Technical Manager to lead the diesel shed and provide technical guidance to senior technicians and teams maintaining 4500 HP and 6000 HP locomotives. The role plans and executes scheduled, unscheduled, heavy, and wreck-repair maintenance; ensures work follows procedures, timelines, costs, quality, safety, environmental, and customer-safety requirements; and manages documentation and sign-off. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or applicable technical training, at least 12 years of locomotive or rolling-stock maintenance operations experience, IT planning and execution experience, team leadership ability, and prior transportation-industry experience. The role involves 24x7 operations across different shifts and days.
