Description
The Service Technician installs, reconnects, disconnects, upgrades, and troubleshoots cable, phone, internet, IP, RF video, voice, and related telecommunications services. Responsibilities include fiber-optic troubleshooting, router and Wi-Fi configuration, CAT5/CAT6 cabling, customer PC setup, drop-wire testing, and on-call service. The role requires at least five years of cable, phone, and internet installation, testing, and troubleshooting experience, fiber-optic cabling experience, a valid driver’s license, ladder and height work, and relevant certifications; a high school diploma or equivalent is required, while an associate degree in Internet Technologies or Engineering is preferred.
