Description
The Residential Service Technician troubleshoots, configures, repairs, and tests residential security, fire, carbon monoxide, networking, video, and access-control systems. The role includes diagnosing equipment and wiring problems, reading electrical and sprinkler plans, coordinating inspections or installations with relevant agencies, and advising customers and the customer care center. Required qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, at least two years of experience installing and inspecting or repairing ADT or comparable products, technical aptitude, strong communication, a valid driver's license, and the ability to stand, stoop, lift, climb, and crawl.
