Fitzgerald Peterbilt is hiring a full-time Diesel Technician / Mechanic to diagnose and repair heavy-duty trucks, heavy-haul trucks, car carriers, fire engines, and roll-off trucks. The role includes explaining technical diagnoses to non-mechanical employees and customers, learning new techniques, assisting fellow technicians, maintaining a clean work bay, and following company safety and environmental procedures. Required qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, diesel certification, engine-building experience, personal tools, a valid driver's license, and prior experience; a CDL is preferred. Compensation is DOE, and the employer offers additional training and benefit options.
