Description
The Service Technician performs electrical service installations, alterations, additions, and repairs across residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Responsibilities include interpreting electrical drawings, terminating and troubleshooting control wiring, installing conduit, performing high-voltage and fiber-optic terminations, coordinating with crews and supervisors, maintaining documentation and vehicles, and ensuring safe, efficient, and code-compliant work. The role requires a high school education or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, insurance eligibility, and less than six years of electrical experience; a Class B CDL is preferred and a Journeyperson license is required where applicable.
