Description
The employer is urgently hiring Service Technicians for its Mechatronics division in Ghent. After workshop training, the role involves preparing, testing, disassembling, repairing, and reassembling technical units such as vacuum pumps, hydraulic systems, and peeling machines; diagnosing and repairing equipment; performing service interventions and preventive maintenance at customer sites; communicating with customers; and reporting maintenance activities. Candidates need a technical diploma, some initial work experience, a passion for technology, independent and accurate work, and a category B driving licence; knowledge of bearings, seals, industrial electricity, and electric motors is advantageous.
