Description
The Elevator Technician performs complex maintenance, servicing, repair, and troubleshooting of elevators, dumbwaiters, and wheelchair lifts. The role includes preventive maintenance, safety-device testing, equipment suitability assessments, and work in elevator shafts, pits, and other mechanical spaces. Candidates need a high school diploma or equivalent, an elevator technician degree or mechanic license, and at least three years of elevator experience, along with knowledge of electrical tools, testing equipment, hoisting and rigging equipment, and the ability to work safely in demanding physical conditions.
