The Residential Service Technician troubleshoots, configures, repairs, and tests residential security, fire, carbon monoxide, networking, video, and access-control systems. The role includes diagnosing equipment and wiring problems, reading electrical and sprinkler plans, coordinating inspections or installations with relevant agencies, and advising customers and the customer care center.
