Description
The CNC Set-Up Technician performs set-ups on CNC mills and lathes, executes basic programming and offset adjustments, installs and aligns tooling and fixtures, conducts trial runs and first-article inspections, and supports CNC operators and junior team members. The role also includes quality verification, documentation, machine checks, troubleshooting, safety compliance, and collaboration with engineers, supervisors, and quality inspectors. It requires at least two years of CNC set-up experience, knowledge of CNC programming and machine tooling, blueprint and GD&T interpretation, precision measuring skills, and willingness to train and mentor operators.
