Description
The Die Setter performs complete die set-ups in a factory environment by installing and testing dies, loading press feeders and dereelers, adjusting guides, fixtures, and conveyors, obtaining first-off approval, measuring test pieces, and adjusting presses to meet specifications. The role also includes inspecting and tagging dies, correcting press or die issues, training operators, reporting nonconforming parts, recording downtime, and supporting plant goals. A high school diploma or GED and forklift and crane certification are required; the position is regular and permanent with no supervisory responsibilities.
