Description
The Set-Up Operator prepares, sets up, and operates machinery in a manufacturing environment, performs first-piece inspections, provides materials, monitors and adjusts equipment, troubleshoots issues, completes setup reports, and maintains a safe and clean work area. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, attention to accuracy and quality, understanding of production processes, and the ability to lift 25–50 pounds and stand for up to eight hours per shift. Compensation is $18.50 per hour, with medical, dental, vision, 401K, short-term disability, and life insurance benefits for full-time employees.
