Description
The Slitter Set-Up prepares slitting lines for production by assembling and installing knives, spacers, shims, and other tooling according to customer specifications, setup documentation, and established procedures. The role includes interpreting schematics and work orders, mounting and moving slitter heads, inspecting and coordinating knife sharpening, reporting tooling issues, maintaining records, supporting operators, and following quality, safety, environmental, and 5S standards. It requires rotating day, afternoon, and night shifts, and offers a base pay of CAD 35.46 per hour.
