Description
The Set-Up Technician will train on the first shift before moving to the hired second- or third-shift schedule. The role sets up and tears down extrusion tooling and downstream equipment, operates auxiliary equipment, prepares cartons and skids, produces quality parts, completes production documentation, inspects parts with measurement tools, troubleshoots extrusion issues, and supports cross-functional teams. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year of manufacturing or factory experience, mechanical aptitude, and knowledge of extrusion processes and materials; forklift operation is preferred. The role also requires physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
