Description
The Set-Up Technician supports injection molding and extrusion blow molding manufacturing by removing and installing molds and tooling, performing machine setups, configuring auxiliary equipment, preparing material-handling and downstream systems, setting recipes and process parameters, supporting startups and first-article approval, troubleshooting tooling and setup issues, and performing basic preventative maintenance. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least three years of plastics-manufacturing setup experience, injection-molding equipment and mold-change experience, knowledge of plastic resins, molds, tooling, and machine operation, and strong mechanical troubleshooting skills; forklift and crane experience are preferred.
