Sonoco is hiring a Utility Set Up Operator in Charleroi, Pennsylvania. The role reports to the Shift Manager and involves setting up production machinery, catching and palletizing products, checking quality, monitoring equipment, lifting materials, counting finished products, tagging parts, loading and unloading conveyors, and recording production information. The position works Tuesday through Friday from 4:30 PM to 3:00 AM, with occasional Monday overtime, and pays $28.14 plus a $0.50 shift differential. Candidates must be able to read a ruler within 1/32 inch, perform basic arithmetic with fractions, learn safety procedures, communicate effectively, maintain attendance, and work in a fast-paced industrial environment; a mechanical background is a plus.
