Description
The Setup Technician will set up and operate WIG, MAG, resistance, and laser welding systems, as well as transport, KUKA, and FANUC robot systems in a three-shift welding shop. The role includes independent changeovers, machine and tool maintenance, defect checks, quality and cost-effective production monitoring, shift documentation, and adherence to safety and order requirements. Candidates need completed vocational training as a metal processing specialist, several years of welding experience, a valid DVS welder’s pass, technical understanding, and basic knowledge of mechanical engineering, control and automation technology, and quality control.
