Description
The Sewer Maintenance Worker operates medium and heavy equipment and performs skilled and semi-skilled maintenance, construction, and public-works tasks for sewer systems, streets, curbs, storm infrastructure, grounds, and snow-ice control. The role includes equipment operation, trenching, sewer inspection and repair, material handling, safety compliance, customer service, and cross-training. It requires at least one year of light, medium, and heavy equipment experience, one year of asphalt and concrete maintenance experience, a high school diploma or GED, Class A commercial driver’s license eligibility, and at least six months of data-entry or computer experience. The position works outdoors in all weather, may require evening and weekend shifts, and includes on-call emergency operations.
