Description
The Transportation Security Officer provides security and protection for air travelers, airports, and aircraft by screening baggage, cargo, and passengers using electronic detection and imaging equipment, conducting pat-down searches, operating x-ray machines, and reviewing tickets. The role is available full-time and part-time, requires U.S. citizenship, a high school diploma or GED, English proficiency, age 18 or older, background and drug screening, medical evaluation, TSA training, and availability for various shifts, weekends, and holidays. Pay is $31.11 per hour upon completion of training or certification, with annual compensation of $64,500 or more, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, sick leave, and a 401(k).
