Description
Chrysalis Host Home is seeking families to serve as Host Home Providers for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role is performed from home and involves providing a safe and clean living environment, supporting daily living skills and individual goals, transporting the individual to medical appointments and activities, completing paperwork, and advocating for the person. Applicants must be at least 21, have disability-support experience, pass a criminal background check, meet home-safety and health requirements, complete pre-service training, communicate effectively, hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, and have good judgment and a positive attitude. The position is contracted and pays a room-and-board payment plus a daily rate based on the level of care needed.
