Description
The Fabrication Mechanic coordinates and performs the layout, setup, and operation of fabrication and machining equipment to manufacture metal components according to engineering drawings, work orders, and production schedules. The role includes interpreting blueprints, measuring and inspecting parts, troubleshooting equipment, performing preventative maintenance, maintaining a safe work environment, and collaborating with production and quality personnel. The position requires a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of related experience or training, or six years of related experience in lieu of a diploma or GED; metal fabrication and manufacturing experience are preferred.
