Description
The Pipe Fitter installs, assembles, maintains, and troubleshoots pipe systems, plumbing fixtures, sheet-metal products, and related hydraulic, pneumatic, steam, hot-water, cooling, and environmental systems in railroad shops, yards, buildings, tracks, and right-of-ways. The role requires blueprint and schematic reading, welding, plumbing, and sheet-metal experience, along with a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and the ability to perform physically demanding work. The position pays $44.26 per hour and includes two weeks of paid training in Atlanta, Georgia, with travel, lodging, and meals covered as required.
