Description
The Sheeter constructs and assembles trailer components from blueprints, sketches, drawings, samples, and work instructions using electric, pneumatic, hand-powered, welding, plasma, and other tools. The role verifies product conformance, measures, marks, cuts, and machines parts, collaborates with supervisors and other sheeters, follows lean manufacturing practices, and maintains quality and regular attendance. Candidates need manufacturing experience, tape-measuring ability, and familiarity with product construction; aluminum MIG welding is preferred but not required. The position involves prolonged standing, repetitive tool use, lifting up to 50 pounds, and exposure to plant, outdoor, heat, cold, noise, and welding fumes.
