Description
The Sheetfed Second Press Operator assists with the setup, operation, wash-up, cleaning, and preventive maintenance of an offset printing press and related pressroom equipment. The role involves loading paper, preparing plates and blankets, mixing fountain solutions, monitoring ink usage, checking press sheets for defects, and ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion of customer jobs. A high school diploma or GED is required, while 1–3+ years of multicolor web second press operator experience is preferred.
