The Salvation Army is hiring a regular part-time Shelter Security Officer in Freeport, Texas. The role assists overnight shelter residents, performs client intake and discharge procedures, monitors resident activity for safety and compliance, maintains records and logs, and supports housekeeping and chore distribution. Applicants need a high school diploma or GED, one year of security or social-services experience in a shelter or similar environment, and preferably a valid state driver's license; food-handler and CPR or first-aid certification or the ability to obtain it within an established timeframe are also listed.
