Description
The Shift Engineer provides maintenance services for internal and external guests and operates the hotel’s environmental systems. Responsibilities include completing mechanical rounds, testing pool water quality, responding to guest-room requests, performing preventive repairs and retrofits, and following service standards. The role requires a 4th Class Power Engineering certificate or equivalent, five years of supervisory experience in a hospitality environment, Grade 12 education, building automation knowledge, and the ability to work physically demanding shifts.
