DPD is recruiting a Shift Manager for its Gloucester depot to lead warehouse operatives during night shifts, oversee lorry unloading and parcel sortation, and meet throughput, CAD, saturation, productivity, health and safety, and cost targets. The role requires people management, communication, decision-making, problem resolution, time management, computer and reporting skills, and vigilance against unscrupulous activity. It is a permanent, 40-hour-per-week contract with a salary of up to £40,000 plus bonus, with workdays from Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday and hours from 05:00 to 13:30.
