Description
DPD is recruiting an experienced Shift Manager for its Maidstone depot to lead warehouse operatives during the night shift from 00:00 to 08:30. The role manages lorry unloading, parcel sortation, throughput, CAD, saturation, productivity, health and safety, and cost targets, while also resourcing staff at short notice. Candidates need people-management experience, communication and decision-making skills, computer and reporting abilities, and vigilance against unscrupulous activity. The position is permanent, 40 hours per week, paid at circa £40,000 plus bonus, and is based at Unit C Riverside Bus Park, New Hythe Lane, Larkfield, Kent, ME20 6WT.
