DPD is recruiting a Shift Manager for its Chelmsford depot to lead warehouse operatives during the night shift from 00:00 to 08:30. The role manages team engagement, lorry unloading, parcel sortation, throughput, CAD, saturation, productivity, health and safety, and cost targets, while also resourcing staff at short notice. The position is permanent, 40 hours per week, paid at circa £40,000 plus bonus, and requires people-management, communication, decision-making, computer, reporting, and data-analysis skills.
