Description
Lam Manufacturing Malaysia is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer to support new-product pilot production, virtual manufacturing, or high-volume manufacturing. The role troubleshoots assembly and product problems, performs root-cause investigations, develops corrective actions, improves manufacturing processes and product manufacturability, manages material rejects, and shares best-known methods with production assemblers. The position requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field, strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, knowledge of 8D, RCCA, GD&T, CAD, PLM or PDM, and the ability to work a 24-hour rotating shift of 12-hour shifts. Preferred qualifications include semiconductor or capital-equipment experience, Lean, DFMA, SPC, Python, and stakeholder-management skills.
