Description
The Heat Treating Shift Supervisor is responsible for safely and efficiently operating an assigned heat-treating shift, managing production, quality, safety, staffing, training, and direct reports. The role oversees heat-treating processing methods, equipment walk-arounds, product testing, continuous improvement, disciplinary activities, and shift handovers, while requiring extensive metallurgical knowledge, leadership, communication, and supervisory skills along with five to seven years of related experience.
