Description
The Chemical Plant Operator is responsible for efficient unit operations, safe and compliant equipment operation, high-quality product production, and coordination of plant activities. The role requires extensive knowledge of chemical processes, polymers, safety and environmental regulations, quality systems, and incident and haz-op training. It involves a 12-hour rotating shift, overtime, physical work in extreme conditions, and the ability to perform repetitive and emergency-response tasks. A high school diploma or GED and 8–10 years of prior work experience are required.
