Description
The Ship-to-Shore Technician supports the safe docking and undocking of cruise ships by managing mooring lines, coordinating with ship crews and port authorities, monitoring weather, and responding to emergencies. The role also inspects and maintains pier, gangway, fender, bollard, rope, and mooring equipment; cleans and operates pressure-washing equipment; performs minor maintenance; and supports plumbing, electrical, masonry, carpentry, and HVAC teams. The position requires a high school diploma, three to five years of mooring or associated experience, a Certified Pool Operator certification within six months, physical fitness, outdoor work, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
