Description
The Shipbuilder supports customers with new construction, conversion, and maintenance or repair of ships across shipyards in Germany. Responsibilities include fabricating and assembling ship sections and steel or aluminum structural units, tack-welding, cutting, aligning, fitting, installing bulkheads and decks, working from technical drawings, inspecting assemblies, and collaborating with other shipbuilding trades. Applicants need a shipbuilding apprenticeship or comparable qualification, professional experience in shipbuilding or steel construction, drawing skills, and a careful working style; travel and a Class B driver’s license are advantageous. The role offers hourly pay up to €20, tax-free per diems, accommodation, permanent employment, vacation and Christmas bonuses, pension provision, and other benefits.
