Description
The Shipyard Production Worker performs shipbuilding and shipyard fabrication duties, including plate and stiffener assembly, large-panel and double-bottom production, web-line production, plate cutting, hot-work checks, material handling, and yard-area maintenance. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least four years of shipyard experience in shipbuilding production or ship repair, blueprint-reading ability, and familiarity with shipbuilding tools, welding and fitting, hand tools, and industrial safety. It is an on-site, full-time, safety-sensitive position with varying shifts and days depending on production needs.
