Description
Damen is hiring an engineering professional to participate in the basic design and detailed development of complete engineering packages for new and standard vessels and floating structures. The role involves 3D modeling of complex hull sections, structural outfitting and equipment foundations, production information release, weight and local-strength calculations, material take-offs, designer supervision, shipyard technical support, reporting, and compliance with Class, governmental, safety, and company standards. A technical higher education qualification in Shipbuilding Engineering or Naval Architecture, strong written and verbal English, and 2–5 years of engineering experience are required.
