Description
The Shipper assembles orders, prepares goods for shipment, verifies identifying information and counts, weights, or measurements against shipping records, and packages small parts, hardware, and fabricated parts. The role includes loading parts onto skids, building shipping skids, preparing containers, labeling shipments, checking outgoing shipments, maintaining shipping supplies, and operating lift trucks or hand trucks. It requires EPICOR/MES database use, computer data entry, problem-solving, teamwork, accuracy, and the ability to safely operate a forklift and overhead crane, along with a high school diploma or equivalent.
