Description
The Shipping & Packaging Technician prepares finished tanks, vessels, process equipment, and components for safe and timely shipment. The role builds custom skids, crates, blocking, bracing, and protective packaging; uses hand and power tools; supports Factory Acceptance Testing and customer inspections; completes final inspections and shipping documentation; and operates forklifts, overhead cranes, hoists, and other material-handling equipment. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, hands-on trade experience, tool and shop-math ability, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to perform physically demanding work in a manufacturing environment.
