Description
The Shipping and Receiving Assistant supports the Parts Manager or Supervisor by shipping and receiving parts, inventory, and quality control; processing orders; maintaining accurate inventory; inspecting shipments; and recording discrepancies. The role also includes delivering and picking up parts and customer trucks on routes of 50–100 miles round trip per day, with the employee home every night. Required qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, one year of related experience or training, a valid driver's license, and the ability to read, write, communicate, perform basic mathematics, and interpret documents.
