Description
Nox Metals is hiring a full-time, in-person Shipping and Receiving Coordinator in Detroit, Michigan. The role owns inbound and outbound logistics across FTL, LTL, hot shot, and parcel shipments; manages CDL drivers and carrier, broker, and 3PL relationships; sources and negotiates carriers; quotes and schedules loads; operates forklifts and cranes; verifies shipments against purchase orders and orders; manages shipping documentation and claims; and builds freight performance dashboards. The position requires 2–4+ years of shipping or receiving experience in manufacturing, metals, or distribution, strong logistics and carrier-negotiation skills, software and spreadsheet proficiency, and the ability to lift 50 pounds and work non-standard shifts as needed.
