The Antarctic Equipment Maintenance and Repair Lead directs complex maintenance and repair of mobile and stationary equipment in Antarctic field camps and traverses, supervises skilled workers and helpers, coordinates work requests, ensures quality and safety, maintains technical records, and trains the assigned crew. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least eight years of machinery-trades experience, proven leadership capability, and deployment to Antarctica for extended periods, with heavy-equipment operation, close-quarters living, and physical work in extreme cold.
