Description
The Millwright will assemble, inspect, diagnose, repair, remove, replace, transfer, and install petrochemical rotating equipment such as pumps, blowers, agitators, and compressors. Work may be performed at the Geismar equipment repair facility or at customer sites within approximately 100 miles, including precision alignment, coupling, motor installation, guarding, and documentation. The role requires independent work in a fast-paced environment, availability for overtime, weekends, on-call and off-shift work, and strong customer-service and relationship skills. An associate degree, NCCER, or trade school in the craft is preferred, and at least 10 years of hands-on experience in maintenance, repair, and assembly of typical petrochemical rotating equipment is required.
