Description
The Shop Supervisor oversees the recertification of high-pressure iron equipment and components, including flow iron, piping, valves, and pressure vessels. The role leads a team of recertification specialists, ensures compliance with ASME, API, OSHA, and other regulations, reviews documentation, develops SOPs, coordinates with engineering, quality assurance, and operations teams, manages inspection schedules, performs or oversees testing, resolves discrepancies, maintains records, trains staff, and enforces safety and calibration standards. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, at least five years of recertification or quality assurance experience in high-pressure equipment, two years of supervisory experience, and relevant pressure-vessel or piping inspection certification.
