Description
The Manufacturing Supervisor oversees daily operations, employees, and resources in an assigned manufacturing area, coordinating with operations, production control, engineering, supply chain, quality, EHS, HR, IT, finance, sales, project managers, suppliers, customers, and other facility visitors. The role directs work to meet safety, quality, and productivity expectations; develops and coaches a skilled workforce; implements continuous-improvement initiatives; and enforces EHS and plant rules. Candidates need a technical manufacturing background, at least five years of manufacturing experience, leadership and problem-solving abilities, mechanical aptitude for rotating machinery, the ability to interpret technical documentation, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
