Description
The role focuses on automotive component cost engineering, including defining and validating should-cost models, identifying cost drivers, maintaining cost databases, developing costing tools, mapping supplier and regional competitiveness, setting target and standard costs, supporting engineering design and value-engineering initiatives, and assisting with supplier negotiations. It requires an engineering degree, at least three years of similar experience, familiarity with automotive costing tools and manufacturing processes, and the ability to work cross-functionally.
