LanguageLine Solutions is hiring an independent-contractor, work-from-home Sichuan Yi–English phone interpreter to handle on-demand calls and interpret conversations between Sichuan Yi speakers and English speakers across healthcare, government, insurance, finance, law enforcement, court, 911, and other industries. The role requires fluency in Sichuan Yi and English, cultural competency, accurate listening and note-taking, neutrality, and the ability to remain on calls during emotionally or stressful situations. Compensation is $0.65–$0.80 per minute, with advancement opportunities but no employee benefits because the position is an independent contractor role.
