Description
GFL's Matrec division is hiring a permanent Lateral Loading Driver in Rimouski, Quebec. The driver operates side- and/or rear-loading residential waste and recycling trucks, collects and compacts materials, transports them to appropriate facilities, performs vehicle and safety inspections, completes route documentation, reports incidents and mechanical issues, maintains equipment and records, and interacts professionally with customers. The role requires a valid commercial driver's license, at least one year of commercial driving experience or a commercial driving school certificate, safe equipment operation, physical ability to handle loads up to 50 pounds, and compliance with safety procedures.
