Description
Mantis Security is hiring a SIEM / Detection Engineer to improve threat identification and response by collecting, correlating, and turning security data into effective detections. The role involves developing and tuning Splunk searches, alerts, correlation rules, and dashboards; building detection logic; onboarding and troubleshooting security log sources; identifying logging and detection gaps; translating MITRE ATT&CK techniques into detections; supporting SOC investigations and threat hunting; and documenting detection configurations and processes. The position requires 10+ years of cybersecurity experience, strong Splunk and SOC detection experience, broad security logging knowledge, and familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK, incident response, and threat hunting.
