DB InfraGO AG is hiring a signal mechanic in Cologne for a multi-year qualification program that begins with line and signaling technology work and develops toward the target position. The role maintains, inspects, repairs, and troubleshoots electrical and mechanical railway signaling systems, records system conditions, maintains technical documentation, and works independently or in teams from a central base in Cologne. Candidates need vocational training in electrical engineering or a related field, outdoor work experience, reliability, teamwork, and flexibility; a Class B driver’s license is advantageous. The position includes on-call duty every 4–5 weeks and offers permanent employment, travel benefits, and up to 40 vacation days.
