Google is hiring a Silicon Engineering Intern to work on next-generation Cloud Silicon, including TPUs, ARM-based servers, and network products. The intern will collaborate with hardware and software architects and designers to architect, model, analyze, define, and design silicon products while balancing performance, power, features, schedule, and cost. The role requires a current PhD pursuit in a relevant technical field, programming and silicon-design-tool experience, and experience in one or more hardware or systems-design areas. Preferred qualifications include performance-modeling tools, silicon design tools, computer architecture, linear algebra, machine learning, and high-performance or low-power design knowledge. The internship is available in Bengaluru or Hyderabad, India, and applicants must complete the application by April 30, 2027.
