Microsoft is hiring a Silicon Engineering Intern to design, develop, modify, and evaluate electronic parts, components, and integrated circuitry for digital electronic systems. The intern will define circuit architecture and operating parameters, select components, create pre-silicon verification test cases and test benches, use simulation and emulation tools, and support signal-integrity and design verification testing. The role requires a student pursuing a bachelor's degree in an engineering or computer science field with at least one additional quarter or semester remaining after the internship; a master's degree and experience with digital logic, verification, C/C++, and VLSI design are preferred. The internship begins 1 February 2027 and spans six months, with ongoing applications accepted until the position is filled.
